Greg Iles is an American New York Times bestselling author of twelve books.

Although he was born in Stuttgart, Germany, where his father, a physician, ran the U.S. Embassy Medical Clinic, Greg was raised in Natchez, Mississippi, which forms the setting of many of his books.

He attended Trinity Episcopal Day School, before graduating from the University of Mississippi in 1983.

His novels have been translated into more than twenty languages, and published in over thirty-five countries across the globe.
