Detailed book overview
"The child must leave ... immediately ... take the sword ... to the Keepers ... there’s a diamond coming..."
These were the last words uttered by a man before he was brutally killed.
A four-bladed dagger set with a huge diamond, and a hidden sword makes Kyth, his brother Alder, and their friend Ellah embark on a dangerous journey from their home in the Forestlands to the White Citadel.
Chased down by Knights of the Holy Star and a Majat Assassin, the three teenagers are joined by Kara, a youthful mercenary whose fighting skills will certainly come in handy.
To prevent Reverend Haghos from usurping his power, Duke Evan makes a desperate attempt to save his Kingdom; one that involves finding the child he gave up many years ago, and the First Sword...
Marya, head priestess of the ancient Solstice cult, sacrifices a virgin every year.
In order to perform this horrific task, she acts as though she doesn’t feel any remorse, even as her father—the wicked tzar Kashchey—consumes the souls of the maidens so as to maintain his youth and power.
Her father’s power is the only thing that protects the kingdom—at least that is what she was brought up believing.
When Ivan however shows up, determined to end the virgin sacrifices, he is met with harsh resistance from Marya.
As much as she wants to destroy him, will she find it in her heart to do so before he completes his mission?
Naia’s hopes of becoming a Jaihar Blademaster seem jeopardized after she assaults a teacher, until a powerful stranger uplifts her into the elusive Upper Grounds training. Little does she know that the stranger is Dal Gassan, the head of the Daljeer Circle.
Nearly two decades ago, Gassan witnessed the brutal massacre of Challimar’s court, rescuing a baby girl who was the only survivor.
Masquerading as the legendary Princess Xarimet of Challimar, Naia must challenge and win against the imperial family.
She may be no princess, but she might be close enough.
When Prince Kythar’s castle is ambushed, he hasn’t got a clue that the ancient Kaddim Brotherhood are scheming to wipe out his royal line.
Although his innate gift of controlling the elements is the only thing that can stop this plot, the only problem is that his fighting skills are no match for the Kaddim.
To overcome the Kaddim, Kyth will need the help of Kara, his gorgeous bodyguard and Diamond-ranked assassin from the elite Majat Guild.
When his adversaries however use treachery to pit Kara against the Majat, removing her out of the equation, will Kythar and Kara overcome the insurmountable odds to save not just their lives but also the kingdom?
Kara is now free from the Guild, a feat that no Majat has ever attained before.
Mai, the Black Diamond assassin, has however been recalled to face the wrath of sparing her life.
Kara, who is resolved to join his fight or share his punishment, finds herself gradually falling for Mai.
Can their relationship, and the force that strengthens their union, be enough to defeat the forces of the Kaddim armies, or will it be a distraction that will mark the downfall of the Majat?
Having been defeated by the Majat forces, Nimos and the rest of the Kaddim Brothers seek refuge in a secret fortress in the southern mountains.
Not all is however lost, as Nimos managed to place a mark on Kara during the flight, one that he will use to confer her fighting skill to the Kaddim warriors and switch her loyalties to their side.
Meanwhile, Mai—the new Majat Guildmaster—is planning a march against the Kaddim, with Prince Kyth Dorn being his main ally, since the prince’s gift can protect the Majat from the mind controlling powers of Kaddim.
Will Mai and Kyth overlook their mutual feelings for Kara and work towards defeating the Kaddim?
Spirits of the Ancient Sands
“The curse of absolute power. The magic of true love.”
When the princess opens a strange bronze bottle—given as a gift from her grandmother—on the day of her age-coming, the last thing she expects is for it to unleash a power far older than the world itself.
As if that were not enough, the one who holds the power turns out to be an attractive man whose fierce gray eyes see right through her soul.
Hasan, who is way older and stronger than anyone she has ever heard of, is her new slave.
She can command him in whichever way she wishes, that is if she can handle him.
“Magic. Love. Destiny. Absolute Power.”
When Princess Gul'Agdar of Dhagabad innocently starts studying the ancient magic of the Sacred Dance, little does she know how that blameless act is the first step on the treacherous path to immortality, absolute power-and slavery.
Whereas her father, the sultan, is determined to force her into an arranged marriage, he has no idea that leaving the palace would pose the biggest threat to her safety.
Not even Hasan, her beloved djinn, will be able to save her, being that his enemies lure him into the mysterious True Library; a magical desert beyond this world where mighty wizards are trapped.
