Karen Marie Moning is an American author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Fever Series.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she graduated at Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in Society and Law, before serving as a bartender, a computer consultant and an insurance specialist on her way to becoming a full-time writer.

Fascinated with Celtic mythology, her novels are mostly set in Dublin, Ireland; primarily focusing on the Tuatha Dé Danann, otherwise known as Fae—an ancient race of immortal beings who have secretly lived among humans for centuries.

Karen is a recipient of the distinguished Romance Writers of America RITA Award for The Highlander’s Touch, which won Best Paranormal Romance in 2001.
