She also writes contemporary romance novels.

Prior to joining the world of fiction writing, Ms. McNaught worked in radio, motion pictures and finance—jobs that she exceeded and excelled in. Her achievements include being the first female executive producer at a CBS radio station, being assistant director of a film crew, a comptroller of a leading trucking company, president of a temporary employment agency, as well as president of an executive search firm.

A recipient of the Affaire de Coeur Golden Pen Certificate, Romantic Times Award for Best New Historical, and the Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Award for Best Historical Romance, Ms. McNaught has printed more than 30 million copies of her books.

She is passionate about philanthropy and currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
