The Soviet's General Secretary Anatoly Sukhumi lies dead, and the beautiful Natalya Nikitchenko is suddenly dangerous—and in danger. The hand of the KGB will close around her and carry her to Kashchenko Psychiatric Hospital to be "treated" with subtle torture, mental barbarism, and escalating brutality.

Hidden Passions

My Life Is Great. Why Do I Feel So Awful?

By most people's standards, you are a successful woman. You have a loving family, a terrific job, and financial comfort. Yet something seems to be missing. Something you don't want to admit to yourself. Something you won't take the time to search for.

Dr. Steve Pieczenik, a Board Certified psychiatrist, spent twenty years in private practice, treating hundreds of women patients. In this book he shares their poignant, fascinating stories, vividly describing how each uncovered what was missing from her life.

He describes their negative behavior (such as workaholism, alcoholism) and the early warning signs that something is wrong (such as constant tiredness, hard to explain anxiety).

But this is a great "solution" book as well, offering strategies for assessing your life and improving it. Hidden Passions focuses on asking hard questions...and answering them.

Active Measures

As a child in Sweden, he was obsessed with hereditary difference. Now, as a physician specializing in eugenics and euthanasia, he is free to pursue his agenda of genetic cleansing-using terrorist tactics and scientific experimentation. His goal is to rid Sweden of ethnic diversity and create one pure race. Although the United States government cannot take an official stand against him, it has dispatched an operative who possesses the knowledge to get close enough to the target to assassinate: An American physician assassin.

The truth exposed through fiction, once again, from Steve Pieczenik. He has written a fictionalized account of how the pro-Nazi Wallenburg family funded eugenics and forced sterilization to support the homogeneous welfare state. Many aspects of this book are not so far fetched when we consider the events of the day- such as the Oslo massacre and ethnic minorities stressing social systems across Europe.

My Beloved Talleyrand: The Life of a Scoundrel By His Last Mistress

"I am first to admit that a woman, especially a young woman, does not attach herself to a brilliant, older, accomplished man without seeing some reward at the end. I may have been a master in the art of submission but I am not without self-respect. If Talleyrand were here with me now, he would agree that what began as a manipulation on both our parts, turned into a wonderful partnership."

Talleyrand's mistresses, intrigues, betrayals, and deceits were legendary, but only one woman could capture his love: his niece and mistress Dorothea, who records his life in the enthralling masterpiece My Beloved Talleyrand.

A debauched French aristocrat bishop, Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord renounced the Church and his nobility in order to save France from self-destruction. He supported and then overthrew King Louis XVI, the leaders of the French Revolution, and finally Napoleon Bonaparte.

After the defeat of Napoleon at Waterloo, Talleyrand dominated the Congress of Vienna, determining the course of history for both Europe and America for the next one hundred years.

The year is 1978. The country is Italy. In this fictionalized account, the assistant secretary of state, Richard Baker, is sent to Italy by the U.S. government to prevent the assassination of the prime minister and the destabilization of the country.

While working with the Italian government for the release of Moro, Baker uncovers a web of unexpected alliances and hidden agendas that lead him to question whether anyone really wants Moro back-alive! As contemporary Italy is racked with a series of financial crisis the threat of destabilization is as real today as it was when Dr Pieczenik wrote Terror Counter Terror.
