Paullina Simons is an American writer of Russian origin and the International bestselling author of historical fiction and mystery novels.

Born and raised in Leningrad, presently known as St. Petersburg, Paullina is a graduate of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.

She did various jobs after graduating from university, including serving as a financial journalist and as a translator, before writing her first novel, Tully (1994).

Having lived in Rome, London, and Dallas, Paullina currently resides near New York City with her husband and most of her children.
