Helen Steadman books in order

Dr. Helen Steadman is a historical novelist best known for her best-selling debut novel, Widdershins (2017) and its sequel, Sunwise (2019) which were inspired by the witch trials in Newcastle.

Not much is known about the Newcastle witch trials, despite it being the largest mass execution of witches on a single day in England.

Heavily interested in uncovering hidden histories, Helen is an avid researcher who will stop at nothing in her quest to attain historical accuracy.

She is currently finishing a PhD in English at the University of Aberdeen while also working on her fourth novel.
