Brent Weeks books in order

Brent Weeks is an American award-winning author of fantasy novels.

He is best known for writing the Lightbringer Series, which was New York Times bestseller, and the Night Angel Trilogy.

Born in Whitefish, Montana, Brent’s life changed for the better at the age of twelve when Edgar Allan Poe introduced him to the power of literature that transcends time, death, and loneliness, while fate entwined his path with that of a girl named Kristi Barnes.

Since then–skipping the boring parts–Brent has written eight best-selling novels with the Night Angel Trilogy and the Lightbringer Series,

The recipient of multiple industry awards, including a Gemmell Legend Award and a Reddit Stabby Award for Fantasy, Brent now boasts of selling a few million copies of his books.

He is also married to Kristi, the same girl who turned him down, and together they live in Oregon with their two daughters.

Brent is agented by the Donald Maass Literary Agency.

As the old gods awaken and satrapies splinter, the Chromeria races to find the only man who can still end a civil war before it engulfs the known world. But Gavin Guile has been captured by an old enemy and enslaved on a pirate galley. Worse still, Gavin has lost more than his powers as Prism -- he can't use magic at all.

Without the protection of his father, Kip Guile will face a master of shadows as his grandfather moves to choose a new Prism and put himself in power. With Teia and Karris, Kip will have to use all his wits to survive a secret war between noble houses, religious factions, rebels, and an ascendant order of hidden assassins called The Broken Eye.

Kip Guile will make a last, desperate attempt to stop the White King's growing horde. Karris White attempts to knit together an empire falling apart, helped only by her murderous and possibly treasonous father-in-law Andross Guile.

Meanwhile, Teia's new talents will find a darker use-and the cost might be too much to bear.

Together, they will fight to prevent a tainted empire from becoming something even worse.
