Camilla Läckberg is a Swedish award-winning and international bestselling author of crime novels.

Born in Fjällbacka, Sweden, she graduated from Gothenburg University of Economics before moving to Stockholm where she worked for a number of years as a marketing director and product manager.

Läckberg became a writer after being enrolled in a creative writing course as a Christmas present.

Her books, which have been translated into at least 40 languages in 60 countries, have sold more than 20 million copies across the globe.

She currently lives in the Stockholm suburbs.
