Fern Britton is an English television presenter and Sunday Times bestselling author of romance novels.

Born in Ealing, London, she attended the Central School of Speech and Drama.

The daughter of the English actor, Tony Britton and Ruth Britton, Fern became known as the youngest person to present News After Noon on BBC1.

She also hosted the famous television cookery game show, Ready Steady Cook, for six years.

Fern currently lives in Holmer Green, Buckinghamshire with Phil Vickery, her celebrity chef husband, and her four children.
