Robin Pilcher is a British author of contemporary women’s fiction and contemporary literary fiction.

The firstborn son of renowned British author Rosamunde Pilcher, Robin has held a variety of jobs over the years, including being a cameraman, a songwriter, a farmer, and a co-manager of a mail order enterprise.

Known for writing books such as Starting Over (2001), and A Risk Worth Taking (2004), both of which have received film adaptations, his novels have been translated into over a dozen languages.

Robin currently divides his time between his homes in Dundee, Scotland and in the Sierra de Aracena mountain area of Andalusia, Spain, with his wife and children.

The author hopes to start a writing institute with the backing of the Pilcher Foundation of Creative Writing.
