Erika Chase books in order

Erika Chase is the pseudonym of Canadian author Linda Wiken.

A true lover of mystery, she writes cozy mystery tales under the pen names Erika Chase and Essie Lang, as well as her real name.

Prior to becoming a novelist, Erika worked as an advertising copywriter, radio producer, journalist and community education worker.

She also owned the mystery specialty store, Prime Crime Books in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for 15 years before shutting its doors in 2010.

Writing under her alter ego, she made her debut in 2012 with A Killer Read–the first book in the Ashton Corners Book Club Series–which was shortlisted for an Agatha Award for Best First Novel.

Erika has volunteered with the Ottawa Police Service for more than 15 years, where she surprisingly developed a huge liking for police procedures.

Besides writing and volunteering, Erika also enjoys being a chorister.
