Born Jewish on the cusp of Leo and Virgo, she holds a BA in Elementary Education, a Master's (M.Ed.) and a doctorate in education (Ed.D.).
A passionate writer ever since she was nine years old, Sally has been awarded with several prizes for her poetry, stories, songs and plays.
She currently teaches in a G.E.D. acquisition program for youth in the Hazelwood/Ferguson area.

Fifty-eight year old Dr. Clara Ackerman Branon starts receiving secret visits from holographic representations of beings from the Many Worlds Collective—a consortium of planet and star systems in the multiverse. The secrets visits are however made public when Earth is invited to join the consortium; making Earthers to reshape their beliefs and ideas about life, religion, culture, identity and much of what they think and are.
When Clara is chosen as the first liaison and Chief Communicator between Earth and the Many Worlds Collective, she is approached by five alien holos in a move that will forever change Earth.
Will Clara end up with her long-time love Epifanio Dang? How will Earth survive the Psi Wars during the Transition?
In her position as the Chief Communicator, Dr. Clara Ackerman facilitates for interspecies communication on and off planet via the "fish," which brings an end to Earth's disparate governments and nations.
At the forefront of rebelling against these changes however are the Psi-Defiers who are led by Rabbi Moran Ackerman; one of the oldest friends of the Chief of the Psi-Warriors and one of Clara's nephews.
Clara, Moran, Esperanza Enlaces (Espe, the Chief Media Contact) and Epifanio Dang (Clara's periodic lover) make their new homes at the newly created psi Excellent Skills Program school on The Campus.
