Frances Evesham is a British bestselling author of mystery, particularly historical mystery and cozy mystery novels.

She is best known for writing the Exham On Sea Cosy Crime Mysteries, which is set in a tiny seaside town that is quite similar to her home.

Frances was inspired to write Murder at the Lighthouse(2015), the first book of the series, when she found an isolated nine-legged Victorian lighthouse while taking a walk on a serene Somerset beach.
