Monica Ferris books in order

Monica Ferris, born Mary Monica Pulver, is an American author of mystery and thriller books.

Born in Illinois, she attended high school in Milwaukee and worked as a journalist in the U.S. Navy for six and a half years–two of which were spent in London.

An alumnus of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Mary Monica does lectures and signings, with appearances on panels at mystery and science fiction conventions—the likes of Bouchercon, Minicon, Diversicon, Magna Cum Murder, and Malice Domestic.

Her books have appeared on national and local best-seller lists, including USA Today.

A member of Sisters in Crime, which promotes women who write mystery fiction, Mary Monica is also a Lay Eucharistic Visitor and Lector at the Episcopal Church of St. George, Minneapolis.

She loves collecting and wearing ebullient hats.
