In one last desperate attempt, Yumeko and her ragtag band of companions embark on a mission to stop the Master of Demons from using the scroll to call the Great Kami Dragon before he destroys the entire empire.

Having regained control of his body, albeit after entering into an agreement with the demon inside him named Hakaimono, Shadow clan assassin Kage Tatsumi pairs with Yumeko in a hopeless attempt to stop a madman, and get Hakaimono out of his body.

But even their joint effort may prove futile against the dark forces about to strike.

In order to claim her rightful place in the Talon organization, young dragon Ember Hill must conceal her true nature and fit in with humans.
