Born in Halifax, England, Andy is a graduate of Keele University.
Before becoming a full-time writer, Andy worked as an entertainment journalist and the editor of magazines such as DVD Review and the iconoclastic film publication Hotdog.
He has also had a spell as a cartoonist, graphic designer and videogame reviewer.
