Donita K. Paul is an American bestselling author of Christian romance, Christian fantasy and young adult novels.

She has also authored a couple of children’s books.

Although she has been passionate about writing from the time she was a teenager, it wasn't until she went into early retirement from teaching that Donita turned to fiction writing–primarily due to boredom.

Her determination to launch a new career saw her become an award-winning novelist, with more than a quarter million books in print.

Whenever she isn't writing or thinking about writing, Donita can be found cooking, beading, stamping, knitting, and spending time with her grandsons, who never fail to make her laugh.

She mentors aspiring writers of all ages, and teaches teenagers, on top of carrying out weekly adult writing workshops.
