The Departure is a prequel novella, following Leslie through his tumultuous childhood and his origin story. This book takes place on Earth and explores how he traveled to Kapaton.
Mythical Investigations follows the case of a missing man: Albert Line. Albert's eccentric wife hires Leslie to find him and he's happy to earn a little spending money. But when a new romantic interest ropes Leslie into solving the case of an escaped Grootslang, Leslie is forced to fend off the folktale creature. In the process, Leslie uncovers shocking secrets from both Albert and his own past.
The Gnome Situation follows a new case, which involves more missing mythical creatures from the first outbreak. Only this time, the creatures are dropping dead. Leslie must stop a mysterious substance from killing an entire population of Gnomes and uncovers a government conspiracy on the alien planet, Kapaton. Leslie much make a choice between saving lives and saving his own skin.
Dragon Bounty follows the third missing creature, a small Featherwing Dragon, and Leslie's own escape from the crumbling infrastructure of Kapaton. He plans to head back to Earth, if only the Kapatonian government will let him get that far. Leslie narrowly survives a crash landing with a new unlikely sidekick, an eleven year old girl that is a genetic mutation of Vampires. Leslie must say goodbye to old friends and welcome a new crew of rag-tag sidekicks.
Paige Parker Mysteries

With the help of Susannah's boyfriend, Owen, Paige uncovers dark secrets in her small Oregon Coast town. In this young adult mystery, Paige grows into herself as she says goodbye to her best friend one last time.
Aurelia Perez was perfect until she was gone. In the sequel to The Disappearance of Susannah Dane, Paige is pulled into another mystery. Miguel has asked for her help in locating his missing cousin, Aurelia, but Paige discovers a side to Ecola Bay that she never knew existed.
The Leslie Kim Serials
Every hero needs an origin story.
This short story takes place before The Leslie Kim Serials. It explores the hellscape that Earth has become after genetically modified humans go wrong. They are faster, smarter, and they thirst for blood.
Long before Leslie Kim was working as a bounty hunter, his father was seeking vengeance for the love of his life. Chul Kim’s determination to avenge his wife and leave Earth forever will not be thwarted by anyone. Not even his own son.
In a world where genetic engineering has turned a generation of people into Vampires, some humans choose to opt-out of the Earth experience and head to Kapaton.
He's left his career as a Bounty Hunter in the past, along with his old flings and bad memories. Now, he's living on Kapaton, a planet that was discovered after they opened up a black hole to Earth and invaded.
Leslie Kim is starting fresh a private investigator.
Contracted into helping the Kapatonian government track down strange creatures that they have been studying, Leslie puts his special skill set to good use. He's living out of a rusted old camping ship that he modified for intergalactic travel and trying to break out of old routines by dating a Vampire.
Things seem to be going well until an enormous cave-dwelling monster breaks out of the Kapatonian's lab and wreaks havoc on the local population. The creatures are pulled straight from mythology; a Grootslang, Gnomes, Featherwing Dragons, and more. His first case as a private investigator falls into his lap when a nervous woman appears at the door of his ship, desperate to find her missing husband. But something is off about her and it seems she may not be human after all.
When Leslie finds himself falling for the director of the program, who is also a Vampire, his morals and loyalties will be tested. The only person he can trust is the artificial intelligence inside his ship. Before the once-believed mythical creature is unleashed on the Kapatonian population and the case of the missing man, Leslie was living a relaxed lifestyle.
Now tangled up in both problems and he's starting to worry that he won't solve either. Can he find the creatures before they destroy the alien species?
Leslie Kim is back for another adventure on Kapaton. In Mythical Investigations, he took down the Grootslang and solved the mystery of an Undine. In the second book in the serial, Leslie must stop a mysterious substance that is killing Gnomes on Kapaton everywhere.
Leslie is shaken by the death of his father, but he can't return to Earth until he earns back his passport by solving the case. Working with his trusty AI and Vampire girlfriend, Elena, he must work against the clock to save lives. Complications ensue when a government conspiracy threatens Leslie's job and his life. The Gnome Situation is the second book in the Leslie Kim Serials.
The Leslie Kim Serials have mythical creatures, aliens, and a whole lot of mysterious happenings. Most importantly, they feature Leslie Kim and his AI, Frank, as they work together to solve the most bizarre cases the universe has to offer.
Leslie Kim is back in the third book in the serial. This time, Leslie must finish what he started on Kapaton.
Grieving from the loss of a loved one, Leslie will do anything to get back to Earth to give them a proper burial in the family plot. The alien government of Kapaton has other plans. Leslie and Verna work together to make Kapaton pay for their atrocious actions. They are living on a large communal ship bound for the planet of Elanthea.
When a mysterious creature sets fire to the ship, they have to make an emergency landing. It’s a new planet with new monsters and Leslie must solve the case before Kapaton retaliates. Leslie might finally get the resolution he desires, if he can make it out alive.
Leslie Kim has returned to Earth, along with the Kapatonian rebel leader, Verna, and a half-Vampire girl named Victoria. The three of them have lived in hiding at Leslie’s childhood home. Life is not quite domestic bliss, but it certainly beats chasing down monsters on Kapaton.
Leslie begins working for his old boss and agrees to hunt down an elusive river monster that is eating fishermen in the bayous of Georgia. Forced into taking care of Victoria, he travels with the girl and her dragon companion across the country in search of the mysterious monster.
When Leslie discovers that someone is hunting him, he must rely on new allies to help keep Victoria safe.
